Having a soft heart in a cruel world is courage, not weakness.

You know those people that want to just love the whole world with their heart, they have so much love in them, that no matter how many times you do them wrong they'll still love you and will do anything for you? THATS ME 🙋🏽 I'm not sugar coating anything, having such a tender and loving heart while being around people who do some of the cruelest things to you is the worst, it sucks, but all I want to do is love them because before they did what they did, I loved them, so why should the love change? Shouldn't they be loving me back? Shouldn't I be getting what I'm giving in return? NOPE. Turns out, the other person will only give you love back if they feel it. Well guess how awful that makes me feel? Pretty stinking bad. Okay, let's go back a little. Do you ever feel like you have something that that other person doesn't have, but they want to use it so they only way they can use it is if they go through you. Yes, that's called being used and THAT is how I feel often. Why why wHY is it so hard to have a tender and soft heart in a cruel world? BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE and people can be mean, unforgiving, and users. YET I am still there for and love that person even though I know everytime we meet up or hang out that I am being used. It's hard to love someone like that, but it's still something that comes naturally to me. I try to wean myself from those people, but I just feel that they need so much love, I stay. And plus, Jesus says to love one another as Christ loved the church, and the last thing I want to do is leave someone when they need the love the most, ya know? UGH. I know that if I want something and I ask that person for it, they'll say no. BUT when they ask for it, I'm like "YES PLEASE, LET ME". It stinks that it looks and feels like I have the short end of the stick, but God knows what he's doing and only HE knows why I am still here in this situation. He will see me out. “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4:8‬ Stay blessed, YOU are his beloved ✌🏾️
