Hey y'all! it's been almost a year but i'm back and better than ever! You're probably wondering about the title, yep, ME TOO! I posted a blog two years back about my acceptance into ETBU and i've just been here the past two years chillin, making the grades and preparing to marry the LOML no biggie! i want y'all to know and understand by the end of this blog just how fast time goes by, please don't waste a second. Coming to etbu, it was brand new and the only people i knew were my three roommates who came here with me. after my first year of college here and trying so many new things, i went in as a retired dancer, SINGLE AS FRICK, and i legit only wanted to finish the classes i needed and then graduate. by the end of my first year, junior year, here at etbu i was a COLLEGIATE DANCER, HAD A BOYFRIEND and MADE SO MANY FRIENDS I NEEDED A NEW FACEBOOK ACCOUNT JUST TO ADD THEM BECAUSE MY PERSONAL ONE WAS FULL!! (okay thats not true but did you know facebook has a friend limit of 7,000???) also in my first year here i landed two jobs, one being a photographer and the other working with children. ( if ya know me you know these two jobs were only placed in my hands by the Lord himself because he provides for his children) AND by the end of the year i had a summer job lined up with pine cove WHICH STRETCHED ME, GOD MOVED Y'ALL AND HE HAD SOME GREATER PLANS FOR ME THAN I HAD FOR MYSELF!!!AMEN?! My second year here at etbu was probably my hardest just because I knew it was my last year until I finally was able to get married and really start my life. I dig deeper into community this year and spent the majority of my time in the word and with my Titus group! Look at God for putting the exact people you need in your life!!The past two years of being at etbu have been a whirlwind of a ride and id do it all over again because it’s brought me so many great memories and unbelievable friendships! All of this to say, DO NOT be afraid to get out of your comfort zone, leave the city and friends you’ve always known, and try something different. I went to etbu to find a better self in Christ and goodness gracious I found that and then some! All because I took that first step. Don’t let that first step intimidated you. GO. DO.
