Finding your man of God. This blog/question has been a request for the longest time, I just didn’t know how to answer or give advice right away because it is such an important topic. I do have lots of advice though on how to find your man of God, the soul you’re meant to be with forever, the one who will lead you to the cross daily and won’t let you fall. Stop searching. I need you to stop searching for your man of God yourself. I did that once, it ended really bad, ultimately failed and wasn’t the type of situation I needed to be in, but God. When you search for your s/o yourself, you’ll find someone, but it won’t be THE one, more so the one the Lord has planned for you. You will notice because he won’t be leading you to the cross as he should and he will be only thinking of one thing. “Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:14 Start praying. Before you meet your future husband, pray for him. It may sound weird, but growing up I would pray for him and write letters for him (until I hid them so good I couldn’t even find them 🙂). Keeping Christ at the center is so so important and I believe that praying for my future husband, for the Lord to send me someone exactly like him, was the answer. I’d say it worked because look who I married!!!! 😉 you want the Lord to lead in every situation, especially this one because it is, again, so so important. "No temptation has overtaken you except what common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will provide a way out so that you can endure." 1 Corinthians 10:13 Be patient. Sisters. This one is the hardest of them all. While you’re watching your best friends get engaged, married, or start a family, you’re sulking in your putty thinking “when will it be me??” I understand and know the feeling all too well, but trust me (and the Lord) your time WILL come! Don’t give up, don’t lose hope, and don’t lose your faith. And no more sulking in pitty, pals! C E L E B R A T E the sweet joining of friends! Don’t be that person who is sour! 😝 “ Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6 That’s is really all of the major advice I have on finding your Godly husband, and I hope you will use it! It’s so so important to find the one and build the kingdom together, so don’t take this situation lightly! Love God, love others, love yourself. Stay blessed, YOU are his beloved. ✌🏼
